International Day of People with a Disability

International Day of People with a Disability was established in 1992 by the United Nations General Assembly to promote awareness of disability issues and the abilities of people with a disability. It is celebrated worldwide on 3 December each year.

In Victoria, International Day of People with a Disability is celebrated with various activities and events in communities throughout the state.
