Beef satay patties

Ingredients

  • 200 g lean beef mince
    1 teaspoon cornflour, (gluten free)
    2 teaspoons mirin, (optional)
    1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
    1 tablespoon salt reduced soy sauce (gluten free) , (or gluten free Tamari)
    1 clove garlic, crushed
    1 teaspoon ginger, grated
    1/4 cup smooth peanut butter
    1/2 teaspoon sugar

Cooking method

    1. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl. Mix well.
    2. Place teaspoons of meat mixture onto an oiled baking tray.
    3. Cover tray with a sheet of aluminium foil.
    4. Bake at 180˚C for 15 minutes.

Notes: If you are preparing food for people on a gluten-free diet, always check the ingredients on all food labels, especially any prepared items like sauces.
